Gender Identity and Inclusion

I have experienced and overcome the very things I specialize in. I'm transparent and also share my stories to show humility. I'm human just like you.

Therapy for gender identity can be particularly helpful for people of color who may face unique challenges when it comes to their gender identity. Some of these challenges may include discrimination, cultural stigma, and lack of understanding or acceptance from family and community.

Therapists who specialize in gender identity can help people of color explore their gender identity in a supportive and non-judgmental space. This can involve helping them understand and accept their gender identity, as well as coping with the challenges they may face as a result of their intersecting identities.

Additionally, therapists who are knowledgeable about the experiences of people of color may be better equipped to provide culturally responsive care. This can involve recognizing and addressing any biases or assumptions they may hold, as well as being attuned to how societal and systemic factors may impact the mental health and well-being of their clients of color.

Therapy for gender identity can provide valuable support and guidance for people of color as they navigate the complexities of their gender identity and the ways in which it intersects with their cultural identities
